She’s gone again.

Collected her stuff, placed in the same Chinese food take out box wrapped with the same ribbon she gave me my valentines gift in. When she opens it, she’ll find her broken faux pearl necklace, her iPhone charger, a pair of red thong panties she left behind, a hair clip, hand lotion, hand written lyrics to Sammy Hagar’s “I’ll Fall In Love Again” and John Mayer’s ‘Shadow Days’, the original email thread between us that started our friendship that I kept at my desk. An empty box of key lime pie flavoured chewing gum she got me as a gift while she was still with her loser ex that told me to think about her while chewing it. I was already always thinking about her. As well as a sticky note that she wrote a message on for a snack she make me for work. I left it there until now. It always meant a lot to me. Now she can give it to someone she actually cares about I guess…

Now all I’m left with from our relationship is hurt feelings and heartbreak…
